Recipients

Since the event's inception hundreds of thousands of dollars have been raised for local charities, social, sporting and community focused organisations that help to make the Peninsula, and Central Coast in general, the vibrant, caring community that it is.  

 

The Rotary Club of Woy Woy acknowledges that the planning, organisation, and operation of the Opera in Arboretum is only possible with our army of volunteers, our large and small corporate donors, and our loyal and enthusiastic (paying) supporters.  We thank you all.

After expenses, the 2023 event resulted in the raising of just under $20,000 available for distribution. The major beneficiaries of these funds included:

• Central Coast Conservatorium of Music Strings Scholarship Program
• Pearl Beach Rural Fire Service,
• Umina Surf Life Saving Club,
• Beyond Blue, and
• NSW Flood Relief,

• Purple House (Indigenous-owned and run health service operating in the NT)
