During these difficult times, we are deeply grateful for your generosity in supporting Rotary to help those who, for a variety of reasons, cannot help themselves.
NEWS UPDATE

15th Opera in the Arboretum postponed until March 2022

Updated: 17 August 2020

Unfortunately due to the ongoing uncertainty surrounding COVID-19, the restrictions on public gatherings, availability of artists, and the well-being of patrons and all involved in the event, we have had to make the difficult decision to postpone the next Opera in the Arboretum, which was due to be held in March 2021. We are now planning to hold what will be our 15th Opera in the Arboretum in March 2022.

We live in hope that by then a vaccine will be available, the pandemic will have abated, borders will be open, and we can gather once again to picnic under the gum trees and enjoy a glorious afternoon of Opera.

Opera patrons and sponsors save the day!

Updated: 2 June 2020

Sadly, due to COVID-19 restrictions on mass gatherings we had to cancel Opera in the Arboretum 2020. Being a charity event, the cancellation could have meant a huge loss for the recipients and the club has it not been for the generosity of patrons and sponsors who saved the day. They answered our call to donate and it is thanks to their support that the Club has been able to provide some funds to each of the Opera in the Arboretum 2020 recipients and to the artists

We don't know what the future holds, but hope it will once again be possible to stage this much-loved charity event and to bring you our 15th Opera in the Arboretum in 2021.
